Preparing a meeting with a potential client

It is important that our potential customers feel that you care that you take the time to get to know them, their companies, products and their greatest pains. Here are some tips for you to take the time to prepare well before meeting with a potential client:

  1. Learn more about the company: before the meeting, take the time to read about the company, understand its mission, vision. Understanding its product/solution is very important.

  2. Find out what’s going on: find the latest news that talks about its achievements, awards, new acquisitions, expansion, future plans.

  3. Be interested in the person you are going to meet: take the time to read their social media posts, interviews, bios on their website. These can tell you a lot about their career, ambitions, tastes, personality. Surely you will also discover that you have points in common!
